 Reels

For a couple of years now I have been using reels that are a reproduction of the legendary Edward Vom Hofe salmon reel. Fishermen that have tested my rods have seen these and many have offered to buy them. Well, I was not ready to part with mine.
Now I have found a maker who is producing a true to the original reproduction.

These reels are made in China in a one man shop. His production is limited, but I am able to import three or four at a time.

Each is first processed on a CNC machine and then delicately polished by hand. They are made of high-strength aluminum alloy. Other materials include: Nickel Silver abrasion-proof copper, stainless steel, Ox horn, all of which are water erosion proof.

Features

A)  There are ventilation holes in the spool and side plate under the handle.
B)  All are left or right hand retrieve.
C)  Non-adjustable click-and-pawl drag system. Set to protect a 6X tippets or smaller.
D) These are 3” in diameter and are perfect for 4,5,and 6, weight lines, which are weigths of most of my rods.
E)  They are 5.0 oz. which is less that my 3&3/8” Hardy Perfect.
F)   My company name tastefully engraved one the side.
E) Each comes in a fleece and leather case.
These are offered for $300.

If your have looked longingly at the  Hardy Cascapedia or the new Orvis Vom Hofe reproduction reels you will find that mine are a great bargain.
